calling pet owners

Have any of you used 1800petmeds or petcarerx for things like flea/tick prevention and/or heartworm prevention? How did that work out for you?

Haven't used them. Our vet told me they (the online folks) don't guarantee the dosage of the meds the same way vets do so I opted out of saving the money. I trust her. But also I'm paranoid about harming our pets, I take no chances.

If you try it I'd be interested to hear how it goes.

BTW nice to have found you and thanks for stopping by my site! I always love to find new IF gals & read on their story. CONGRATS on the pregnancy!!!!

In all the paperwork from the clinic I haven't seen where you have the option of partial ICSI. ICSI is another $900 and as we don't have MF probs we don't really feel like justifying that. Plus honestly, I'm curious enough that I WANT to see if his sperm can fertilize my eggs by themself! Call it a desire for knowing the future but I just guess if we CANT get pregnant normally I want to know that!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's thought of using potential extra embryos in case dh died. Of course, we may have none to freeze either. But I have nothing else to obsess about at the moment!

I haven't used them. I have a hard time ordering things online or over the phone- it's a trust issue :-) Sorry that I'm no help.

I just used 1800petmeds for the first time. I ordered both Frontline (flea/tick)and Interceptor (heartworm) for my Lab. I had no problems with them. It's the exact same packaging and, as far as I can tell, product as I have gotten for years at the vet.

I know this comment is a little late but I've been lurking and reading your archives so I've just now gotten to this date.

Congratulations, btw, and I am really enjoying your blog.
