So, I had the lap.

I do have endo, but it wasn't as bad as it could have been. It's a strange disease. The places that it was found really had no relation to the location of my pain. I guess that's not so unusual, but it was a little disappointing. I was hoping for answers, but I'm not sure I got them.

Wow. First of all, I'm sorry to hear you have endo. And that you had to endure surgery to find that out.

I have often wondered if I have endo myself. When I asked my RE if he thought it was possible, he said there was less than 5% chance, so he didn't recommend it for me. But I have pretty severe pain at different times in my cycle, spotting, and a sneaky feeling about it.

Could you please share how you came to the decision to do the lap?

Glad you're back with a post about you :)

Sorry to hear about the endo. How are you feeling after the lap? I was up walking around the next day. I hope you have a speedy recovery and a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

My plan with the RE is to do a couple of more cycles on Clomid, then if nothing happens he would like to do a lap because he thinks that if Clomid doesn't work like it did the last time then something has changed internally. He makes a good point. I am going through severe ab pain right now and it lasts for a few days. Last month when this happened I had a positive surge line so I thought it was ovulation cramping. However, I have had no surge line this month and still have the pain.

This is a long way of asking, what were indicators to you that you might have endo. What kind of pain, when, and for how long?

Sorry to hear that by the way. I hope that you are feeling better soon.
